The Wellington Academy Celebrates Students on GCSE Results Day
The Wellington Academy is celebrating the achievements of students receiving their GCSE results today, recognising the hard work, resilience and determination they have shown throughout their secondary education.
Students have secured a range of positive destinations, including A Level courses, vocational programmes and apprenticeships, enabling them to take the next step towards their future ambitions.
Headteacher Hannah Whitaker said:
“Today is about celebrating our students and the effort, perseverance and character they have shown throughout their time at The Wellington Academy. Behind every result is a young person who has worked hard, overcome challenges and grown in confidence.
We are incredibly proud of all our students and the many different forms that success takes. Whether they have secured places on their chosen courses, exceeded their own expectations or achieved important personal milestones, they should be proud of what they have accomplished.”
The Academy would like to thank its staff, parents and carers for the support they have provided and wishes all students every success as they move on to the next stage of their education and training.
