Remembrance Service

Remembrance Day is an important event at the Academy with over 40% of our students from service families. This year was no exception with a very moving and poignant service attended by members of the local community, Army representatives, governors and local primary schools. The service was delivered by Reverend Annabel Copeland and the Archdeacon of Sarum, Alan Jeans with readings from pupils from Wellington Primary Academy and Castle Primary and a poem written from Academy student, Chloe Hayes. CCF cadets stood solemnly throughout the service and were a credit to the Academy.
