Over Easter humanities students have shown ‘Gold’ approach to learning by creating some amazing home learning projects.
During term 4 Year 7 students have been studying the Tudors in their history lessons and for home learning have created visual representations of the religious roller-coaster that took place at that time.
Year 8 geography students have been studying the coast and the impact that erosion has on the coast. They evaluated the different methods you can use to protect the coast and coastal settlements.
Year 9 geography students studied natural disasters and how different countries are affected by these. During the Easter holidays they created an in depth case study of a natural disaster, this included explaining the cause and effects and evaluating if the location of the disaster had an impact on its severity.
