Students Pass their Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition

During the weekend of 23rd April, 20 students took part in their practice DofE expedition led by Mrs Whishaw. On the first day they walked in Collingbourne Woods and then the Vale of Pewsey, near the White Horse. It was hard work carrying the heavy packs and despite some navigational errors, all groups showed brilliant team work and enthusiasm. They all passed their practice and can now go on to complete their assessment expedition in June. Many thanks to all the staff that volunteered to give up their free time and help - Mrs Cuthbert, Miss Grainger, Mrs Evans, Mr Davidson, Mr Newman and Major Carey.
