Cleaning Supervisor (Boarding)

30 Hours per week – 08:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, Salary - £13,031 to £14,485 per annum

The role of the Cleaning Supervisor is to plan and manage the day to day and deep clean work of the Cleaning Staff in the Boarding House and on occasions within the Main Academy, this includes training, instructing and supervising to meet agreed standards. As a Cleaning Supervisor you will also undertake, as part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

To be considered for the role you must have a working knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety, demonstrable experience of managing a team, with an ability to prioritise duties yet be flexible in your approach to meets the needs of the role. The ideal person will work on their own initiative and within deadlines, yet maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Head Chef

Hours of work are based on 30hrs a week and working alternative weekends, at an annual salary of £19,890. The role is a full time contract throughout the year

Harrison Catering Services is one of the UK’s leading independent catering companies, serving high-quality, freshly-cooked food to thousands of people in schools and workplaces every day.

We are looking to recruit a head chef to join one of our catering teams. The chef along with the rest of the catering team provides afternoon snack, dinner and weekend brunch for pupils as well as food for various school functions throughout the year. The emphasis is on homemade meals, using fresh food produced on site to a high standard as well as ordering and menu planning, maintaining health and safety standards, staff training , food committee meetings and managing a small team.

The ideal applicant will have good teamwork, interpersonal and front of house skills, and able to work in a busy environment. Ideally qualified to NVQ level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.

Hours of work are 7 hours per day Monday to Friday, at an hourly rate of £7.50. This position is term time only.
